Manage inventory-related functions, including auditing slow-moving and obsolete inventory, conducting monthly reconciliations, and reporting findings. Demonstrate problem-solving abilities by troubleshooting system issues and recommending enhancements. Conduct quarterly reviews of stock master items and update pricing files as necessary.

Assist clients in planning and implementing KPI improvement and efficiency projects, coordinating project tasks to ensure timely delivery. Conduct routine safety meetings with Lab Support Technicians and develop a basic understanding of customer computer systems (such as Coupa and Intranet) to fulfill job duties. Update standard work practice documentation as changes occur and strive to meet safety, performance, and quality objectives.

Analyze and present metrics and KPI data to the Technical Laboratory Services Manager, providing actionable performance insights and service levels.

Contribute to training and standard workflow documentation and apply troubleshooting techniques to resolve discrepancies. Adhere to safety protocols to identify job hazards.

Maintain compliance in health and safety, security, environmental, and operational aspects of daily activities for both self and team members.

Essential Skills:
- Strong communication and training capabilities

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Business or Science with 2+ years of management experience related to the responsibilities outlined OR
- High School Degree/GED with 5+ years of management experience related to the responsibilities outlined

Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of R&D laboratory operations with a proven track record of supporting activities at various complexity levels
- 2+ years of experience coordinating resource activities in a service role
- Background in a laboratory environment with a focus on Chemistry/Biology

Work Environment:


Must be able to work in a laboratory setting, requiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.). The job pace may be fast, and demands for job completion may be high.
Must be able to remain stationary for more than 25% of the time and occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings.

Frequent operation of instruments, tools, or controls will require bending, squatting, stretching, and reaching to perform service functions. Occasionally, the role may involve moving or lifting up to 25 pounds, with the potential for occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this position include the ability to observe details at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to perform essential service functions.

Occasional operation of a computer and other office machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, and printers, may be required. Employees may be tasked with handling hazardous waste in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, which includes identifying, handling, generating, accumulating, storing, and labeling hazardous waste.

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is competitive, with the final base pay determined by factors such as internal equity, work location, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
