Optical Supervisor

Job Summary:

Warby Parker is seeking an experienced Optical Supervisor to lead our team of in-house optical professionals. As a key-holder to the store, you will be responsible for opening and closing the shop, maintaining internal operations, and fostering a positive work environment for the opticians and retail advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and execute these details with accuracy
• Check finished eyewear for quality and customer satisfaction
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Set up the store for success each day by executing operational, service, and staff zoning procedures
• Drive store vision and sales by providing exceptional service and acting as the main contact for customer and operational questions
• Work with store management to lead and mentor the Optical team and exemplify great service

Requirements:

A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities. Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries, with excellent communication skills and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
