Job Summary

DNT Environmental Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Manager - Remediation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of our environmental remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the responsibilities of assigned field projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Maintain all field paperwork, including daily documentation and invoicing, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Supervise and manage field personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Develop and expand current client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and growth strategies.
  • Network within the industry to develop potential prospects and opportunities, participating in events such as trade shows and conferences.
  • Participate in company strategy planning, department budgeting, and revenue target development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Perform presentations to prospective clients, describing our environmental services and solutions.
  • Participate in the proposal process for new projects and opportunities, developing proposal documents and submitting completed proposals.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in environmental science, engineering, or other science-based technical degree or related coursework.
  • 7+ years of field project management experience, with a strong background in environmental remediation.
  • 5+ years of environmental industry experience, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of the environmental and industrial services industry, with a focus on remediation and project management.
  • Outstanding client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of construction means and methods, including best management practices, work sequencing, and project durations.
  • Broad functional knowledge of equipment operations, with operating experience a plus.
  • Functional knowledge of GPS surveying and grade control systems, with experience in CADD programs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent team building and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse skill levels.
  • Proficient at building and maintaining project schedules using various software, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
