The role of the Project Manager (PM) is crucial for the effective delivery of our projects. The PM collaborates closely with Superintendents to oversee budgets, timelines, and client interactions. Additionally, the PM partners with Senior Management to set objectives, uphold protocols, and evaluate project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the execution of assigned field projects.
  • Ensure accurate daily documentation of project activities.
  • Maintain thorough records to guarantee all tasks are properly identified, documented, and invoiced monthly.
  • Supervise all field personnel associated with projects.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new field staff.
  • Manage equipment and materials for each field assignment.
  • Oversee the budget for each assigned project.
  • Develop and strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Network within the industry to identify potential opportunities.
  • Engage in marketing activities such as trade shows and conferences.
  • Contribute to company strategy planning, departmental budgeting, and revenue target setting.

  • Participate in the proposal process for new projects, including the preparation and submission of proposal documents.
  • Attend site visits and pre-proposal meetings as needed.
Education:
A four-year degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in field project management.
  • 5+ years in the environmental sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the environmental and industrial services landscape.
  • Exceptional client management abilities.
  • Existing contacts within the environmental industry are advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficient in PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Familiarity with Federal and State project management methodologies, proposal writing, and contracting.
Skills:
  • General understanding of construction practices, including best management techniques and project sequencing.
  • Broad knowledge of equipment operations; hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GPS surveying and grade control systems.
  • Proficient in CADD software.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong team-building and collaborative abilities.
  • Capable of developing and maintaining project schedules using various software tools.
  • Adept at simplifying complex technical information for diverse team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in project scope and embrace new technologies.
  • Experience managing multiple team members across various roles.
Proposed Salary and Benefits:
DNT offers a competitive salary based on market research and experience level, with a salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 depending on expertise in the environmental sector.
