The role of Project Manager (PM) is crucial for the effective delivery of our projects. The PM collaborates closely with Superintendents to oversee budgets, timelines, and client interactions. This position works alongside Senior Management to define objectives, uphold protocols, and evaluate project outcomes. Reporting directly to the Managing Partners, the PM holds a pivotal role in project oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the duties associated with designated field projects.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of daily project activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive records to guarantee all tasks are identified, documented, and invoiced accurately each month.
  • Supervise and manage all field personnel assigned to projects.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new field staff.
  • Manage equipment and materials necessary for each field project.
  • Control the budget for each assigned field project.
  • Develop and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Engage in networking within the industry to identify potential opportunities.
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to promote the company's services.
  • Contribute to company strategy planning, departmental budgeting, and revenue target setting.
  • Deliver presentations to prospective clients outlining the company's services.
  • Engage in the proposal process for new projects, including the creation and submission of proposal documents.
  • Attend site visits and pre-proposal meetings as needed to pursue business opportunities.

Education:
A four-year degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in field project management.
  • 5+ years of experience in the environmental sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the environmental and industrial services field.
  • Exceptional client management abilities.
  • Existing contacts within the environmental industry are advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficient in PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Familiarity with Federal and State project management methodologies, solicitations, proposal writing, and contracting.

Skills:

  • General understanding of construction practices, including best management techniques, work sequencing, and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
  • Broad knowledge of equipment operations; hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of GPS surveying and grade control systems.
  • Familiarity with CADD software.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong team-building and collaborative abilities.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining project schedules using various software tools.
  • Adept at translating complex technical information into understandable terms for all team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across diverse skill levels.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes in project scope and embrace new technologies.
  • Capability to manage multiple team members across various roles.

Proposed Salary and Benefits:
DNT offers a competitive salary based on market research and experience level, with a salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 depending on expertise within the environmental sector.
