Position Overview

The Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives AMER is tasked with orchestrating, facilitating, and propelling cross-functional collaboration for AUT AMER strategic initiatives. This role demands a highly organized, results-oriented professional with a strategic outlook and proficient project management capabilities. The chosen candidate will engage closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to define, plan, and implement these vital business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Insight: Partner with senior leadership teams to convert essential business requirements into strategic initiatives. Clarity in Structure and Execution: Transform strategic initiatives into organized actions that can be executed by cross-functional teams. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish project priorities, maintain effective communication, and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and challenges. Leadership: Guide through influence and ensure that cross-functional teams have the clarity and support necessary for execution. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Project Planning and Management: Create project plans that include timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Deliverables Management: Develop frameworks for teams to adhere to and create executive presentation documents. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project success and assist in developing digital dashboards.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred but not mandatory. Formal project management education and PMP certification (Preferred). Experience: Over 5 years of experience – Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in corporate PMO, strategy office, or management consulting. Proven success in managing large-scale, strategic projects. Experience in leading a matrix organization. Proficient in presenting and communicating with senior leadership teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Prioritization skills within complex business needs. Interpersonal and political savvy in dealing with others. Financial intelligence, including project evaluation and business case analysis. Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.

Additional Desirable Skills (not mandatory):

In-depth understanding of automotive industry manufacturing and supply chain processes, along with associated customer requirements. Proven success in project management and NPI within a highly technical product portfolio. High competency in project, program, and resource management. Extensive experience working with diverse multicultural and cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools. Experience in influencing cultural change management. Background in tier-1 automotive supplier or OEM supplier. Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or LEAN process methods. Experience in change and risk management. Understanding of the general automotive APQP process. Willingness to travel within the Americas region as needed to support project objectives. Familiarity with connector, harness, or integrated systems or manufacturing processes (injection molding, plating, stamping, machining, etc.).

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $119,380 - $179,040 (subject to change based on physical location).

• Salary ranges are provided in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
