Job Summary:
The Senior Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical systems, components, and networks. This role requires advanced expertise typically gained through extensive education and experience. The challenges faced in this position are often complex and require regular communication with leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead significant projects or processes of intricate scope with minimal oversight.
2. Mentor and review the work of junior professionals.
3. Assist in formulating operational plans and executing them for assigned areas.
4. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
5. Determine research methodologies for the planning, design, development, and testing of electrical systems for various applications.
6. Foster strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation with stakeholders.
7. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent professional experience.
