This is a senior leadership role that oversees the procurement and supply chain management function for Ball Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams to negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Manage and analyze data to inform sourcing decisions and optimize supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as category management, supply chain management, or finance.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of driving cost savings and improving supplier performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
