Ball Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Finance to provide financial support to the Procurement and Supply Chain Execution teams.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on metal-related industries.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing standardized global supplier negotiation processes, working directly with Global VPs of Procurement/SC execution, and providing strategic advice and recommendations to leadership.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.

Additionally, the candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standardized global supplier negotiation processes to optimize purchasing of $6B+ annual spend and ensure optimal contract terms to leverage Ball's purchasing scale.
  • Work directly with the Global VPs of Procurement/SC execution and their teams to develop and monitor financial KPI's that drive incremental EVA$ through optimization and lower procurement costs.
  • Support procurement regional execution teams to optimization purchase costs and metal supplier mix.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to leadership as it relates to procurement and in particular metal management and metal costs.
  • Financial lead for various cost savings projects within procurement and supply chain execution.
  • Partner with the global treasury team on key movements in commodity markets.
  • Support warehouse and freight strategy development.
  • Lead financial process and data improvement projects in the procurement and supply chain areas.
  • Drive cross functional raw materials inventory management working with supply chain planning and procurement stakeholders.
  • Manage global metal pricing database including current and future predictive pricing to support regional financial planning and accounting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5 Years experience in relevant finance and accounting experience, with a focus on metal-related industries preferred.
  • People management, including leading and developing teams.
  • Thriving in a matrixed environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Working knowledge of the following areas:

  • Relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls related to metal operations.

Compensation & Benefits:

Ball Corporation offers a comprehensive benefits structure, including a hybrid on-site work environment, competitive salary range of $106,100 - $151,100, and eligibility to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
