About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily activities of workers involved in the fabrication, assembly, and processing of our company's products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run efficiently and that the quality of the output meets our standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate as a key team member in maintaining on-time delivery and ensuring that production schedules are met.
  • Train employees in the safe operation of equipment and machinery, and provide guidance on best practices for productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor productivity to ensure that process output meets established standards, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that quality and workmanship meet established standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor scrap and/or rework to established goals and benchmarks, and develop strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Take corrective action for processes that are not meeting standards for safety, quality, and efficiency, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Participate in new product planning to ensure readiness for product launches, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement production plans.
  • Responsible for monitoring employee performance and conducting periodic reviews, and provide feedback and coaching to employees to improve performance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance as needed to prevent unplanned downtime, and develop strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, and ensure that employees are following safety protocols and procedures.
  • Other activities that support safety, quality, and delivery requirements, as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience, with a strong background in production supervision or management.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with prior supervisory experience - minimum of 2 years.
  • Prior experience leading multi-shift operations, with a strong understanding of production scheduling and planning.
  • General ability to perform all the duties as described above, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Proficient computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Experience with ERP software, and ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
