Gentiva Hospice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Director of Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development across our assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage small teams of business development staff, providing training, mentoring, and guidance to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and support to ensure the effective execution of short- and long-term business plans.
- Identify and coordinate the development of new business opportunities, analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Assist in the development of key business partnerships within the assigned territory, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1+ years of previous healthcare sales management experience required.
- 3+ years of previous direct sales experience in the healthcare service industry required.
- A proven track record of being a top performer, with a strong ability to drive sales growth and development.
