Regional Sales Representative Opportunity

De Lacy Executive Recruitment North America is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Representative to join our client, a leading international designer and manufacturer of high-quality dairy comfort equipment, in the Eastern US region. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and drive growth in the dairy industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expand Network: Identify and onboard new dealers, while nurturing relationships with existing ones, to expand our client's presence in the Eastern US territory.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for all customers in the territory, addressing their needs and inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Training and Support: Provide commercial and technical training to dealers and organize customer training sessions as needed, ensuring they have the necessary skills to promote our client's products effectively.
  • Promotion: Advocate for our client's innovations through collaborations with research institutions, universities, and regional opportunities, showcasing their cutting-edge dairy solutions.
  • Event Participation: Represent our client at trade shows, open houses, and other industry events, promoting their products and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement technical training, commercial strategies, and marketing plans for the distribution network, driving growth and increasing market share.
  • Product Launches: Lead the commercial introduction of new products, ensuring effective market penetration and customer adoption.
  • Account Management: Provide exceptional service to large accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit monthly activity reports, managing follow-up on payments and other administrative tasks as necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales or territory management within the dairy cattle industry.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time, with occasional international travel.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus, but not required.
