Job Description

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications Domain Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Service Management Integration and Transport (SMIT) Contract, you will be responsible for designing and implementing unified communications solutions that meet the needs of our Navy and Marine Corps customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, network architecture, and unified communications. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to develop and implement solutions that meet the requirements of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement unified communications solutions that meet the needs of our Navy and Marine Corps customers.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and operations teams to develop and implement solutions that meet the requirements of our customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to our teams to ensure the successful implementation of unified communications solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in unified communications and network architecture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network architecture, and unified communications.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, ports, protocols, and the OSI 7 layer model.
  • Experience with modern voice/video over IP solutions, legacy analog and digital voice PBX communications, and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).
  • DoD IAT Level II Certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced/Professional level vendor certifications (Cisco, Ribbon, Avaya, etc...).
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML experience, Cameo Systems Modeler.
