Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Domain Architect to join our team in support of the Navy Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) Contract. As a Domain Architect, you will be responsible for leading the development of wireless networking and passive infrastructure solutions to support the Navy's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply subject matter expertise in wireless networking and passive infrastructure to develop solutions that meet the Navy's needs.
  • Lead the development of wireless networking and passive infrastructure strategies and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to conduct trade studies and analyses of alternatives to support wireless networking and network infrastructure architecture concepts.
  • Identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities and support contract growth.
  • Define technology roadmaps and communicate architecture vision and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Partner with the SMIT PMO team to support the development of technical solutions, RFP responses, and white papers.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and processes to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to program team members and encourage innovative solutions to solve complex customer problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field or relevant experience.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, creative thinking, and time management skills.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Minimum of DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.
  • Expert knowledge of WLAN architecture and TCP/IP networking.
  • Extensive knowledge of WLAN and mobile networking concepts, platforms, management tools, and application of each.
  • Knowledge of Radio Access Networks, 5G, public and private LTE, and emerging mobile networking technologies.
  • Knowledge of Inside/Outside Plant Infrastructure and Network Infrastructure Solution Space.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Applicable recent experience with the Enterprise level of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network, processes, and procedures.
  • Unified Communications experience highly desired.
  • 20+ years of IT experience in multiple technical disciplines within the DoD environment.
  • Advanced Agile or ITIL certifications.
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) III and Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certifications highly desired.
