Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Abacus is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions, leveraging SaaS product offerings to conduct feasibility analyses and perform ROI calculations.
  • Conduct assessments and develop configuration baselines for SaaS systems, considering industry best practices and cybersecurity recommendations.
  • Deploy SaaS solutions, including instantiation, initial configuration, connectivity, testing, commissioning, and production cutover.
  • Design, engineer, and implement cloud-based unified communication and collaboration solutions.
  • Develop provisioning guidelines, pre-deployment checklists, tailored procedure documents, system design documentation, and other lifecycle documentation for cloud computing systems.
Technical Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a cloud computing or related engineering role.
  • Extensive experience with cloud-based solutions and SaaS platforms.
  • Strong background in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and enterprise cloud management.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex cloud computing solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Education and Certifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications in cloud computing, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
Work Environment:
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, except Federal holidays.
  • US Citizen only.
  • Relocation accepted.
  • Remote work not accepted.
