Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Domain Architect to join our team in support of the Navy Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) Contract. As a Domain Architect, you will be responsible for leading the development of wireless networking and passive infrastructure solutions to execute the US Navy's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply subject matter expertise in WLAN, mobile networking, and passive infrastructure to one of the largest private Intranets in the world.
  • Lead the development of WLAN, mobile networking, and network infrastructure architecture concepts for software and hardware.
  • Collaborate with the team to conduct trade studies/analyses of alternatives that support WLAN, mobile networking, and network infrastructure architecture concepts.
  • Identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities resulting in increased contract growth and improved customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred in STEM or relevant field, or comparable experience with an additional 12 years or a Master of Science degree with 10 years of overall related experience.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical managers and customers.
  • Exceptional problem solving, creative thinking, and time management skills.
  • Currently possess and ability to maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Minimum of DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification required prior to onboarding and must maintain certification while supporting the SMIT Contract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Applicable recent experience with the Enterprise level of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network, processes, and procedures.
  • Unified Communications experience highly desired.
  • 20+ years of IT experience in multiple technical disciplines within DoD environment.
