At First Horizon, we are committed to helping our clients, communities, and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel. As a Credit Analyst - Centralized Commercial Lending, you will play a critical role in our underwriting and credit analysis process.

As a member of our Centralized Commercial Lending team, you will assist our Underwriting and Relationship Managers with front-end work to provide a quick and efficient client experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Spreading financial statements and tax returns
  • Creating Global Cash Flows for borrowers, guarantors, and prospects
  • Due Diligence, including verifying 4506-Cs, ordering tax transcripts, and performing background checks
  • Assisting underwriters with loan requests on both the new money and renewal side
  • Communicating with RMs, client specialists, and underwriters to ensure that deals are progressing as intended
  • Requesting missing documentation when necessary
  • Participating in special projects and assignments, and other duties as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree in a related business discipline (Finance, Accounting, Business)
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with nCino and Moody's CreditLens a plus
  • An understanding of financial ratios
  • The ability to communicate effectively
  • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports; analyze and evaluate information, solve problems, and achieve goals
