Client Services Specialist for the Division of Tenant and Owner Resources

The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled Client Services Specialist to join the Division of Tenant and Owner Resources. As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and their experiences are positive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and satisfactory answers to client inquiries and concerns
- Review client accounts to provide updates on their subsidy program
- Prepare and send correspondence, tracking responses
- Assist with reviewing email accounts and virtual mail room to route documents to corresponding units
- Perform community outreach to assist Section 8 participation
- Perform administrative work, including data entry and logging
- Document case files and electronic records
- Attend mandatory trainings
Requirements:
- High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community-centered activities
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
