Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Coordinator at Providence Water in Providence County, RI. In this role, you will provide administrative support to department managers and directors, ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate assignments and administrative tasks for department managers and directors.
  • Develop and maintain communications, correspondence, and perform related tasks as required.
  • Work independently to plan and coordinate assignments for divisions within Providence Water and with professional and community organizations, state and local regulatory agencies, and others as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe notes and verbal communications into written correspondence and memoranda as required.
  • Plan, organize, and implement all or any combination of administrative tasks or clerical assignments.
  • Create and maintain database for personnel records, including dates of hire, promotions, evaluations, vacations, sick leave, workers' compensation data, change-of-status, terminations, and payroll information.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent and a minimum of four (4) years of progressively more responsible experience in a position reporting to management level at Providence Water.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and supervisory control software; demonstrable proficiency on software unique to organization.
  • Demonstrable proficiency and skill in accurately transcribing verbal and/or recorded communications and composing written reports and/or correspondence based upon general verbal instructions with a good command of English grammar and spelling.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
