Electromechanical Service Specialist

Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $30 to $40 based on experience.

Position Overview:
The role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of intricate electronic and electromechanical systems. This position requires a high level of expertise in operating as an independent "product specialist" for designated product lines. Responsibilities include assisting in the execution of comprehensive customer installation strategies to ensure reliability and process validation, as well as training customer staff on advanced equipment usage and maintenance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this role, the individual must effectively fulfill the following duties:

1. Deliver professional and courteous service to clients, prioritizing complete customer satisfaction.

2. Aid clients and team members in diagnosing and resolving equipment-related process issues.

3. Conduct on-site preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment cleanliness and operational quality.

4. Execute start-up, warranty, and service contract tasks, ensuring timely hardware setup on specified systems.

5. Keep management updated on any equipment downtime, documenting and reporting activities as necessary.

6. Identify and rectify process variations in systems, diagnosing hardware or process issues affecting equipment or production.

7. Engage in local client meetings, communicating effectively in both individual and group settings, and maintaining professionalism in all forms of communication.

8. Timely preparation and submission of required documentation.

9. Maintain accurate logs and records for all assigned equipment.

10. Clearly document activities during shift handovers to ensure continuity.

11. Adhere to all safety regulations and training requirements to maintain access to client sites.

12. Be available for overtime and travel on short notice, including unscheduled callouts.

13. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20% of the time, with a valid passport.

14. Operate company vehicles safely, possessing a valid driver's license with acceptable driving privileges.

15. Train fellow service engineers on specific product lines and software tools.

16. Assist with on-site equipment installations or complex retrofits, ensuring customer acceptance.

17. Utilize training skills to troubleshoot equipment, minimizing downtime and enhancing customer satisfaction.

18. Perform additional duties as assigned.
