Principal Service Solutions is seeking both Entry Level and Experienced Service Engineering Specialists. You will receive comprehensive training in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment within a manufacturing cleanroom environment. Travel may be necessary to support operations in various semiconductor facilities nationwide.
We are looking for meticulous individuals with a strong technical and mechanical background (e.g.,

experience using hand and power tools for vehicle repairs, machine maintenance, etc.) who are eager to embark on a career path that offers limitless opportunities for advancement.

On-the-job training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
Diagnose equipment issues
Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to minimize equipment downtime
Order and install necessary parts
Respond to urgent service requests as needed
Train customer operating technicians on system functionality and maintenance
Implement upgrades and modifications to equipment as necessary
Stay updated on equipment/tools through relevant training, manuals, and factory publications
Employees must uphold standards of conduct that meet the expectations of both Principal Service Solutions and clients to maintain eligibility for customer site access.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
No prior experience required for entry-level positions; previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment is necessary for other levels.
Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using relevant tools are essential.
A solid understanding of technical issues related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of company equipment and procedures is required.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are necessary.
High levels of professionalism and customer interaction skills are expected.
A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills are required.

Physical Requirements:
Job responsibilities often involve working in confined spaces within a cleanroom environment, in awkward positions, and at elevated heights.
Manual dexterity and the ability to lift/carry objects weighing up to 35 pounds are required.
May involve bending, stooping, crawling, or climbing.

May necessitate the use of Personal Protective Equipment and adherence to safety protocols when dealing with hazardous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electrical currents, high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.


Travel:
Candidates must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time for domestic or occasional international assignments.

Travel durations may vary, but candidates can expect to return home approximately every 6-8 weeks, depending on workload.

Approved travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Shifts will primarily be during the day, but flexibility to accommodate customer demands is a significant advantage.

Educational Requirements:
An Associate's degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology is preferred.
Military experience in a relevant technical role may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Compensation:

Entry Level:
$28.00/hr to $30.00/hr

FSE 1:
$30.00/hr to $31.50/hr

FSE 2:
$31.50/hr to $33.00/hr

FSE 3:
$33.00/hr to $35.00/hr

FSE 4:
$36.00/hr plus DOE
