The On-Site Support Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional product assistance and technical expertise to clients at designated locations.

- Engage in installation and troubleshooting of vacuum pumps, abatement systems, and gas and chemical delivery systems to enhance revenue streams for both service and sales sectors.
- Participate in site safety initiatives to foster a zero-hazard environment.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Interpret detailed electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
- Comply with all site fabrication and sub-fabrication protocol requirements.
- Utilize various test equipment, including test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance; collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Follow directions from supervisors and undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma required. An Associate's degree or military experience, or 2-3 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in a related field such as electronics, mechanics, chemicals, gas, refrigeration, or vacuum technology is preferred, ideally in a customer-facing role.
Skills and Attributes- Possess a positive attitude, high energy, and enthusiasm, along with a strong desire to learn and a commitment to excellence.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate initiative.
- Exhibit excellent customer interaction and communication skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Competence in using test equipment, including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to work in confined or challenging spaces for extended periods.
- Must successfully complete a Physical Capability assessment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
The physical requirements of this position include regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditions. Employees may encounter fumes or airborne particles, and occasionally work in high places or with hazardous materials.
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate effectively. They may also need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and engage in frequent computer use.
