We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Oncology PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a Registered Nurse Oncology PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role

This is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. As a Registered Nurse Oncology PRN, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical providers
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes or concerns to medical providers
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Registered Nurse Texas State License or Compact State License
  • Associate Degree, Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
  • 1-2 years of Medical Surgical Oncology or Med Surgical Tele/Ortho acute care nursing hospital experience
