Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Oversight: Manage clinical operations for nursing support activities, ensuring compliance with national and organizational standards.
- Staff Management: Maintain optimal staffing levels and oversee nursing staff performance within budgetary guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor patient satisfaction and implement quality improvement measures.
- Staff Development: Facilitate training and development programs for nursing personnel, including performance evaluations and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or MSN preferred.
- Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in oncology.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Current CPR certification is required; oncology certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This role is primarily office-based, with exposure to common conditions found in an oncology clinic environment.
Physical Requirements:
The position requires significant computer-based work, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting patients. Candidates should possess good manual dexterity and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
