Key Responsibilities:Clinical Oversight: Manage all clinical operations related to nursing support activities.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels for assigned clinics while maintaining operational costs within budget.
Monitor clinical operations to align with organizational goals and evaluate patient satisfaction and quality assurance metrics.
Staff Development: Facilitate and coordinate training programs for nursing staff, including in-services and internal development initiatives.Assist in conducting annual performance evaluations for nursing personnel.
Act as a mentor and provide daily guidance to less experienced nursing staff.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a BSN or MSN preferred.
- Current RN state license and registration with the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 5 years of active nursing practice, including at least 3 years in oncology.
- Preferred leadership experience of at least 1 year.
- Current CPR certification is required; oncology certification is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Traditional office environment.
Work conditions may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other typical oncology clinic scenarios.
Physical Requirements:A significant portion of the role involves computer-based tasks.
Physical demands include the ability to handle and lift patients, manual dexterity, and coordination. Standing and walking for extended periods is necessary, along with the ability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges are required.
