Key Responsibilities

Position: Electronics Technician III

General Function: This role involves overseeing and managing Electronic Security Systems Contracts, along with responsibilities related to emergency repair and response programs. The technician will ensure compliance with contracts and effective program execution.

Specific Duties:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair services for clients on integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and GBR.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines for integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and GBR.
  • Collect data from the field to replicate reported issues in a controlled lab setting.
  • Provide emergency service availability 24/7 as needed, including scheduled on-call service.
  • Document all service calls, preventive maintenance tasks, and collaborate with the technical support center to ensure daily service documentation is completed and submitted to the Service Department.
  • Assist Sales and Customer Service teams with product application information.
  • Travel may be necessary for this position.
  • Maintain and ensure the proper upkeep of the company vehicle (if assigned) and may assist with field installations of IDS, Access Control, CCTV, and GBR systems as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with electronic alarm systems and sensors.
  • Extensive experience (3+ years) with electronic access control systems.
  • Familiarity with programming software related to electronic alarm and access control systems.
  • Experience with CCTV and GBR systems is advantageous.
  • Two years of relevant college education is preferred.
  • General understanding of computer hardware and proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance as required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the capability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reports directly to the Services Program Manager.
  • Requirement: Must possess a current, active SECRET clearance.
