Key Responsibilities
POSITION: ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN III
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Oversee and manage Electronic Security Systems Contracts, along with responsibilities related to emergency repair and response initiatives. Ensure the delivery of services to maintain contract adherence and effective program execution.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Conduct routine maintenance and service repairs for clients concerning technical, application, and service-related aspects of integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and GBR.
- Execute preventative maintenance inspections according to manufacturer recommendations for integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and GBR.
- Collect information from the field to replicate any reported issues in a laboratory setting.
- Provide emergency service capability 24/7 as required, including on-call service as scheduled.
- Document all service calls, preventive maintenance needs, and collaborate with the technical support center to ensure daily service documentation is completed and submitted to the Service Department.
- Offer Sales and Customer Service departments insights on the proper application of products.
- Travel may be necessary.
- Maintain and ensure the safety of the company vehicle (when assigned) and may assist with field installations of IDS, Access Control, CCTV, and GBR systems as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- In-depth knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with electronic alarm systems and sensors.
- Comprehensive understanding and at least 3 years of practical experience with electronic access control systems.
- Experience with programming software related to electronic alarm and access control systems.
- Familiarity with CCTV and GBR systems is advantageous.
- Two years of relevant college education is a plus.
- General knowledge of computer hardware and proficiency with Windows Operating Systems & MS Office.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance as necessary.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the capability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
- Reports to the Services Program Manager.
- REQUIRED: Must possess a current, active SECRET clearance.
