Key Responsibilities

POSITION: ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN III

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Oversee and manage Electronic Security Systems Contracts, alongside the responsibilities of the emergency repair and response program. Ensure service delivery meets contract standards and program execution.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and service repairs for clients, focusing on technical, application, and service-related aspects of integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and GBR.
  • Execute preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with manufacturer recommendations for integrated alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and GBR.
  • Collect field data to replicate reported issues in a laboratory setting.
  • Provide 24/7 emergency service capability as required, including scheduled on-call service.
  • Document all service calls, preventive maintenance needs, and coordinate with the technical support center to ensure all necessary service documentation is completed daily and submitted to the Service Department.
  • Supply Sales and Customer Service teams with information regarding the proper application of products.
  • Travel may be necessary.
  • Maintain and ensure the safety of the company vehicle (when assigned) and may assist with field installations of IDS, Access Control, CCTV, and GBR systems as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with electronic alarm systems and sensors.
  • Proficient understanding and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with electronic access control systems.
  • Experience with programming software related to electronic alarm and access control systems.
  • Experience with CCTV and GBR is advantageous.
  • Two years of relevant college education is a plus.
  • General knowledge of computer hardware and familiarity with Windows Operating Systems & MS Office.
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance as necessary.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the capability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reports to the Services Program Manager.
  • REQUIRED: Must possess a current, active SECRET clearance.
