About the Role

Caddell Construction is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install controllers and other field devices, run low-voltage cable, and make terminations.
  • Assist with on-site programming, start-up, and commissioning from controller to end devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems on jobs and report to project management.
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Program and start up DDC systems, perform day-to-day service and maintenance, diagnose, repair, and advanced programming and commissioning of HVAC and DDC control systems.
Working Conditions

This is a construction setting role that requires travel and full-time work. You must be able to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear, and occasionally sit. You must also be able to withstand confined spaces and extreme heights while negotiating tasks in a safe manner to yourself and others.

Education and Experience

We require a minimum high school diploma/GED, a journeyman certificate or equivalent, and an associate's degree or equivalent work experience in HVAC, electrical, or electronics. You should also be able to submit certifications upon request and obtain a medical clearance before deployment.

Certifications and Licenses

A current clearance or the ability to obtain a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance is required. A U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is also required.
