Clinical Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Registered Dietitian Senior, you will be responsible for evaluating, coordinating, and implementing nutrition care plans for patients. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing education and counseling to patients on their nutritional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to implement nutrition care plans
- Provide education and counseling to patients on healthy eating habits and nutrition
- Ensure customer satisfaction and good public relations through efficient use of resources
- Perform duties in compliance with performance improvement plans, regulatory agencies, and industry standards
- Registered Dietitian and Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists within 6 months of hire
- Clinical nutrition experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical, counseling, time management, computer, and critical/analytical thinking and understanding capabilities
