The Director of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Practice will be responsible for overseeing the financial management, strategic planning, administration, and external relations for the UKHC Enterprise Clinical Nutrition Services at Chandler, Kentucky Children's, and Good Samaritan Hospitals.
This position will provide administrative, human resources, financial, and marketing leadership; direct financial business case development with capital and operating budgets for the UKHC Enterprise Clinical Nutrition Services, ensuring accountability for the overall financial portfolio; manage the development of strategic plan for the UKHC Enterprise Clinical Nutrition Services, including the coordination of delivery of clinical care services in conjunction with Enterprise leadership; and represent Clinical Nutrition service areas through inter-departmental collaboration, as well as external relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Financial management acumen, independent decision making, Advanced Communication Skills, Ability to Multi-task, Decisive leadership, Program management
- Supervise and lead a team of professionals in the Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics department
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the quality and efficiency of clinical care services
- Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the financial sustainability of the UKHC Enterprise Clinical Nutrition Services
- Represent the Clinical Nutrition service areas through inter-departmental collaboration and external relationships
- Master's degree and at least eight full years of related experience; healthcare leadership or business experience
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans
