Job Summary

The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in growing our referral base through strategic marketing campaigns and serving as an industry resource for our current referral networks.

This position aims to double our brand awareness through traditional and strategic campaigns for our existing referral sources and grow our overall referral base by consistently acquiring 20 new referral relationships weekly.

Candidates must be able to effectively communicate with insurance adjusters, property owners, and internal staff.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and market to various referral sources
  • Develop lasting relationships with key referral sources to secure jobs
  • Attend key events and association meetings to cultivate new referral sources
  • Manage marketing materials and reorder necessary items for referral cultivation
  • Manage swag and leave-behind gifts/food for referral sources within a set budget
  • Operate email campaigns for event cultivation and top-of-mind brand awareness
  • Collaborate with internal staff to stay informed on all referral sources' jobs
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience meeting with customers and qualifying leads
  • Proven sales performance with an average increase over time
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of software
  • Full understanding of Microsoft Outlook
  • Email marketing experience with Constant Contact or MailChimp
  • CRM management experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with all potential referral sources
  • Trade show operational experience
