Senior Vice President of Finance Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning and Oversight
- Comprehensive Financial Analysis, Budget Development, and Forecasting
- Management of Board and Committee Relationships
- Leadership in Accounting, General Ledger, and Operational Functions
- Continuous Financial and Risk Assessment
- Oversight of Information Technology
- Leadership of Finance and IT Departments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. CPA certification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial executive role within a non-profit organization.
- Proficiency in non-profit contracts (e.g., Department of Developmental Disabilities, HUD, MassHealth), external audits, regulatory compliance, and GAAP is essential.
