We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Account Manager to join our team at CAI Insurance Agency, Inc. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a book of business, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members, and promoting growth through account rounding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of business, including servicing, marketing, growth, and retention
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members
  • Educate, advise, and make recommendations to clients regarding policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and needs
  • Perform account reviews to ensure adequate coverage
  • Manage new and renewal business marketing
  • Evaluate and negotiate carrier quotes on client's behalf
  • Promote growth of existing book through account rounding
  • Bind coverage within established limits
  • Resolve all policy and coverage related concerns
  • Maintain a broad knowledge base of carrier underwriting guidelines
  • Manage client files to ensure proper documentation

Requirements:

  • 1 year of account management or customer service experience
  • Must have a team-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional organizational skills and capability of keeping multiple projects moving
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully, both written and verbally
  • Ability to work respectfully with clients, producers, and other staff members
  • Property and Casualty License, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
