Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Greystone Maple Ridge. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the hiring, training, and supervision of maintenance staff, ensuring the integrity of our properties is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of maintenance staff, working closely with the Property Manager
  • Perform regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs
  • Follow up on service requests performed by the maintenance team to ensure timely completion
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks based on urgency
  • Inspect and coordinate the make-ready process to ensure properties are ready for occupancy
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, treating residents, staff, and vendors with professionalism
  • Maintain property grounds and common areas to meet company standards
  • Implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure optimal property condition
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop and other work areas, adhering to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus
  • Valid driver's license required
  • EPA HVAC certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
