Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our 5812 Maintenance Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and assignment of daily tasks and general maintenance, including service requests and punch (make ready) work for the maintenance team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the scheduling and management of outside vendors.
  • Complete inspections and schedule routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
  • Effectively handle resident service requests in a timely manner as per company standards.
  • Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair.
  • Maintain awareness of the physical condition of the property and immediately correct unsafe conditions.
  • Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, expenditures, make-ready status, work-in-progress, etc.
  • Maintain inventory and logs of parts and supplies.
  • Provide on-call time to ensure 24-hour maintenance service.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance and supplies.
  • Minimum of three (3) years prior experience.
  • Must possess basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and locksmith skills.
  • Type II HVAC certification required. Universal certification preferred.
  • Must possess own hand tools.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Good planning/organizing skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
