Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, overseeing maintenance and repair activities, and leading a team of maintenance professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Inspect facilities periodically to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Review and oversee site performance, work order completion, and make-readies to ensure timely and efficient maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and train maintenance supervisors to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance and construction teams to ensure efficient communication, follow-through, and completion of tasks.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and equipment to ensure optimal maintenance operations.
  • Budgeting and Performance Management: Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a multi-site maintenance supervisor or similar role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating, etc.).
  • Health and Safety: Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
  • Budgeting and Performance Management: Understanding of budgeting and performance management principles.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent planning and leadership abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: High school diploma; degree from a vocational school will be a plus.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred.
