Job Description

KMS Solutions, LLC is a technical management/solutions company specializing in engineering, analysis, and cyber security. We are seeking a Port Engineer to serve as an on-board representative, responsible for validating shipboard conditions and managing maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Online Database: Maintain accurate records of all jobs and tasks.
  • Coordinate with Crew Members: Meet daily with the ships' crew, department heads, and commanding officer to discuss maintenance schedules and progress.
  • Review Work Specifications: Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field: We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in engineering principles and experience working with naval or commercial ship repair.
  • USCG Third Assistant Engineer License: A valid USCG license is required for this position.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with crew members, department heads, and commanding officers.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
