About the Role

As a Facilities Maintenance/Custodian Manager at Gethsemane Community Fellowship, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This position involves overseeing daily operations, managing a team of custodians and maintenance personnel, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including offices, classrooms, and common areas.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial and maintenance personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections of our facilities, equipment, and vehicles to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities-related projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years' experience in custodial and maintenance work is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate education and experience accepted.
