We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support the Human Resources department at Hermann Forwarding. Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Employee Data Management: Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accurate information, ensuring all employee files are complete and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
- Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates. Conduct initial applicant screenings and reference checks.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions. Coordinate offboarding procedures, ensuring all exit documentation is completed and necessary equipment is returned.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timesheets and attendance records. Assist employees with benefits enrollment and address any inquiries related to benefits.
- HR Reporting: Prepare HR-related reports as needed, including turnover rates, absence records, and other key metrics. Analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (ADP WFN).
- Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
