Job Summary:

Murray Resources seeks a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR function and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with our organization's mission, values, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's mission, values, and strategic objectives
  • Oversee the entire HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to promote their growth and development
  • Drive the recruitment and selection process, ensuring we attract and hire highly qualified candidates while adhering to fair and inclusive practices
  • Develop and maintain effective employee relations programs, policies, and procedures to foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns and grievances
  • Collaborate with department managers to develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, equity, and compliance
  • Payroll and 401(k) Administration
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices, proactively addressing any HR-related legal issues or concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR, implementing innovative solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leadership on HR-related matters, recommending strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports, identifying trends and providing insights to support data-driven decision-making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with 7+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience in a multi-state and multi-location organization required
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
