Job Summary

This position supports a department by performing assigned tasks or assisting with assigned projects, allowing the apprentice to gain an understanding of the System Support team.

The work experience and projects are typically under general supervision of one or more subject matter experts and support Intermountain's operations, mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participates and is involved in a variety of projects that support the needs of the department/facility.
  2. Works with the members of the team to identify solutions and perform tasks that accomplish individual and team goals.
  3. Gains knowledge of the department's/facilities functions.
  4. Works with other members of the department/facility to accomplish assigned tasks.
  5. Project Assistance: May be assigned one or more specific projects during the internship.

Requirements

  • Student in business fields (Finance, Communications, Marketing, HR, legal, etc.), who is in the first two years of an undergraduate program at an accredited institution.
  • Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet, and e-mail and scheduling applications.
  • Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Work Environment

Primary Children's Hospital

Salt Lake City, UT

40 hours/week
