Job Title: Administrative Assistant

DonorConnect is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the organization. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front office duties, and supporting the Administration department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for reception and front office administrative duties, including main business telephone line, daily staff schedule information, mail and deliveries, office equipment assistance, and supplies.
  • Monitor stock of office supplies and place orders as needed. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as breakrooms and meeting spaces.
  • Provide administrative support to the Administration department and other teams, committees, or organizational programs as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for clerical duties and other administrative support projects, including generating data reports, documents, flyers, mailings, and presentations.
  • Schedule meetings and facilitate meeting management as directed, providing support with agendas, minutes, and notes, following up on assignments, and project tracking.
  • Serve on and actively participate as a committee member as assigned to benefit the organization and represent the Administration team.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Minimum of one to two years of customer service or administrative support experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong computer skills, including basic graphic design and Microsoft business applications
  • Knowledge of and ability to use business office and phone equipment
  • Understanding of basic accounting and clerical functions
  • Able to do routine accounting and administrative procedures
  • Well organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible, willingness to assist others
  • Able to work well under stress
  • Sensitive with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to work well both independently and as a team
  • Able to successfully prioritize work
  • Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
