Become a Customer Care Specialist at PUPS Pet Club

The Customer Care Specialist is essential in assisting clients with their service and product selections, whether they engage in person, through our digital platform, or via phone.

  • Welcomes and engages with clients, including overseeing the phone communication.
  • Consults with clients to identify their preferences and requirements regarding services and products.
  • Showcases and clarifies services and products, providing appropriate recommendations based on client needs.
  • Guides clients in making informed purchase choices and scheduling their appointments.
  • Processes payment transactions and maintains dialogue with supervisors regarding any concerns or safety matters.
  • Embodies the values of PUPS Pet Club in a professional and positive manner.
  • Key Competencies:
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the services and products available.
  • Ability to effectively recommend products and services.
  • Proficiency in using the store's point-of-sale system.
  • Aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
  • Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service or retail (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with a point-of-sale (POS) system (preferred).
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • A genuine passion for dogs.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended durations.
  • Capability to safely lift dogs weighing up to 50 lbs.
