Job Overview

Position: Cyber Risk and Security Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Security & Risk Manager to oversee the security protocols and risk management strategies within our organization. This role involves collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with security regulations and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding organizational information system assets.
  • Defining access privileges and control structures to protect systems.
  • Implementing enhancements to security measures.
  • Conducting periodic audits to identify security violations and inefficiencies.
  • Maintaining and enforcing security controls.
  • Identifying and addressing potential security threats.
  • Evaluating current security trends and anticipating future requirements.
  • Preparing performance reports to keep stakeholders informed about system status.
  • Ensuring quality service in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Staying updated with the latest technical knowledge through educational workshops.
  • Contributing to team objectives by achieving related results.
  • Creating configurations and documentation for new network and security solutions.
  • Advising clients on architecture and infrastructure improvements.
  • Leading or participating in medium to high complexity network and security projects.
  • Developing detailed implementation plans.
  • Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Representing the customer’s interests in vendor meetings.
  • Collaborating with technical support teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and management at all levels.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Coordinating with external auditors for information requests.

Position Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Cyber Security Specialist role or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with high volumes of logs and network data analysis.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Proficiency in antivirus and security software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Security Solutions design and implementation.
  • Experience with SD-WAN technology.
  • 5+ years of troubleshooting WAN/LAN/WLAN infrastructure issues.
  • Customer-focused with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Expertise in creating detailed network and security documentation.
  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Cisco systems and certifications.
  • Understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily desk-based work.
  • Physical demands may include climbing stairs and light lifting.
  • Close visual acuity required for data analysis and computer work.
