About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at The Residence at Silver Square, a premier senior living community in Dover, NH. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service and promote a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere.
  • Work closely with our Culinary Services Director and Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.
  • Set tables according to our high standards and serve residents and guests beverages as requested.
  • Review daily menus with residents and take and deliver accurate meal orders.
  • Remove used or soiled items from the dining room and maintain a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Assist with preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs and special events.
  • Communicate resident preferences and feedback to our food service team to inform menu planning and resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Focused and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Physical Demands
  • Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment.
  • Visual and auditory acuity.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and carry objects.
  • Ability to push and pull carts and continuously walk, sit, and stand.
  • Ability to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate.
  • Ability to use good body mechanics.
  • Ability to type and use a computer.
