Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse to join our team at The Residence at Silver Square in Dover, NH. As a key member of our Resident Care Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Resident Care Director in managing the community and supervising Resident Care Associates.
  • Monitor emerging health needs of residents and provide support as needed.
  • Participate in community marketing efforts and promote the mission and values of LCB Senior Living.
  • Develop and revise service plans for residents in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
  • Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of resident care associates.
  • Evaluate resident issues and medical concerns, and discuss with the ED, family, and MD as appropriate.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration with all departments to improve services.
  • Monitor resident care assistants' compliance with infection control and sharps disposal programs.
  • Participate in the direct care of residents as needed.
  • Provide support to resident care associates regarding assignment questions or concerns, as well as emergency situations.
  • Ensure completion and review of incident/accident reports and implement changes through proper channels.
  • Assist the Resident Care Director with all documentation required by LCB Senior Living or state regulations.
  • Administer topical and oral medications, ear and eye drops, and injectables as allowed by regulation.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma and graduation from an accredited Nursing Program.
  • At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting and previous health experience in hospital and/or community settings.
  • Current RN or LPN License in the state of employment.
