Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver to join our team at The Residence at Silver Square in Dover, NH. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from appointments, group activities, and other destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a 7 to 14+ passenger vehicle to transport residents safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure vehicle(s) are always ready for transport, including safety checks, first aid supplies, and updated resident emergency information sheets.
  • Assist residents with entering and leaving the vehicle, and assist with baggage as needed.
  • Enforce safety rules when traveling and secure all necessary paperwork for appointments.
  • Transport residents to and from appointments, group activities, and other destinations.
  • Service the vehicle with fuel, oil, necessary fluids, and maintain the vehicle in a clean and sanitary condition.
  • Perform emergency repairs as needed and attend required in-services and orientation.
  • Respond to resident requests and other duties as requested.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of driving experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license in the community's state is required, with no more than two moving violations in a three-year period.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is required.
  • Frequent lifting, bending, and stretching are required.
  • The ability to handle emergency situations calmly and completely is essential.
