Job Description

As a key member of the Trump Miami Resort Management LLC team, the Banquet Sous Chef plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our culinary operations. This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising the production, plating, and presentation of food at all banquet events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train a team of culinary staff to ensure seamless execution of banquet events.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage food costs and inventory to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Banquet Chef to ensure seamless communication and execution of events.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a culinary management position.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
