Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, DMIR - Mammography

College of DuPage is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach DMIR - Mammography courses. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography and experience working with students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach DMIR - Mammography courses in various delivery modes, including face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats.
  • Develop and implement course materials, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Meet with students, colleagues, and administrators as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field and/or a combination of education, training, and tested experience as a mammographer.
  • Experience working with various types of Mammography equipment, including full-field digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis.
  • Current ARRT Certification and Illinois state license in Radiography.
  • Compliance with the FDA's Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) Initial Requirements for Mammographers.
  • Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years experience inspecting mammography facilities and equipment.
  • Experience working with Mammography students and knowledgeable of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
